Meet the Makers

Hello, we're Lucy & Brock!

Cliff to Creek all started when Brock made me (Lucy) a pair of earrings out of wood and epoxy resin as a gift. I, of course, loved them and wore them on all of my adventures. Many friends and family complemented them! Brock pitched the idea of creating a business and together, we decided to turn our love for the outdoors into wearable art. Now, we spend our evenings and mornings brainstorming new designs, pouring resin, and talking about our future ideas.

Why We Create

Cliff to Creek is created to inspire connection - connection to place, to movement, and to the people who share our love for wild spaces.

The trails that raised us, the mountains and rocks that humbled us, and the snow that keeps us curious. The people who always have extra snacks during a backcountry ski tour, the people who wave and smile as you pass them on the trail, and the people who inspire others to get outside. These are the kinds of places and people are designs are made for.

Every piece is a nod to the communities that build, teach, and share the outdoors — whether that’s a mountain bike club or a snow safety organization. We're just happy to be a part of it.

Behind the Earrings

Our process to create each & every pair of Cliff to Creek earrings is hands on. Here is our process:

  1. Create the design. We start with our inspiration, whether it be trad climbing (aka cam earrings) or our favorite mountains (Mount Alice).
  2. Laser engrave the design into either walnut or red oak wood.
  3. Fill the earrings with epoxy resin in small batches. Normally there will be 3 - 5 pairs of each unique color combination.
  4. Sand & stain the earrings, add the earring hooks, and package them.
